I obtained a Diploma in Journalism at Varsity College, and have started to pursue a career in journalism. To this effect I wrote for the community paper for over a year to gain experience. An extensive portfolio of my work is available on request. I would, however, like to explore different media related positions to firstly broaden my skills, and secondly find the perfect position for me. Even though I enjoy journalism, I am also interested in event planning and public relations. In journalism, I would like to venture into magazine writing, but I also find broadcast journalism fascinating. My best quality is my ability to grasp new concepts quickly. I am also fully computer literate; highly organized and pay great attention to detail - as I am a perfectionist by nature. I work well under pressure and can keep up with deadlines as I generally work at a fast pace.
