I'm a former Brit with a diploma in journalism from the UK, and I'm now very proudly South African.
I started my career by reviewing rock bands for a national UK music paper, then worked for various newspapers before spending four fun-filled years in Cairo, where I ended up editing a technology magazine.
I moved to South Africa in 1996 and was the Information Technology Editor for Business Day for 12 years. I went freelance to follow my passion for travel and leisure writing, but I still cover business and technology issues.
I write in a quirky, humorous style, and I'm great at personality profiles, research pieces, travel, food, theatre and pretty much anything else that interests me. I can write press releases, corporate material and PR material too, or edit copy to make it sparkle.
