To capture, manage and manipulate large volumes of data on meditech system. Apply proper telephonic techniques in order to communicate with doctors and patients and ensure client satisfaction. Assist patients and doctors who come into the laboratory effectively and timelessly. Administer, sort and distribute samples to the current and various labs according to the set standard operating procedures. Monitor progress and ensure that tests results are ready within the prescribed turnaround time. File patient's results and data for the different doctors. Ensure that all technical systems are operating at all times by ensuring there is always sufficient consumable and communicate with technicians if the systems are down. Monitor stock levels and order additional stock to ensure the availability of required materials at all times and ensure delivery of stock to the doctor' s rooms.
Provide adequate customer service and build relationships with doctors through ensuring results are delivered on time. Be familiar with all departments (nursing, administration and technician) in order to assist patients and doctors effectively with minimum time wastage. Ensure that patient's data is captured professionally and to detail because data is only valuable if accurate, up to date and usable and the patient's life is at stake. Maintain confidentiality at all times. Handle queries to meet customer satisfaction. Provide excellent service in order for the company to have a competitive advantage and the doctors to provide support to Lancet. Work in a team as all departments are dependent on each other in order to reach organizations' goals. Write report and liaison with managers every morning on daily operations.
