Show profile Hide profileA focused, grounded and a dynamic young lady are the words that describe Khanyisile Ngwenya. I am an individual who has acquired and maintains a 'never say die 'attitude and I aspire to become an asset in the media industry.
Having completed three years of studying at Boston Media House where I majored in both Public Relations and Journalism and went on to graduate top of the class for PR, I have learnt how to effectively implement corporate social initiatives, how to communicate efficiently with internal and external public, how to build and manage a brand and the importance of paying attention to detail.
As an avid writer, I'm also passionate about communication, building, managing and maintaining a brand along with its image.
While working at one of the country's largest and most recognised insurance companies for almost five years, I have had the opportunity of working as an individual and as part of a team. I work well under pressure and am able to adhere to strict deadlines. I've also learnt the importance of working accurately to ensure that minimal to no errors are made and I practically acquired the skill of telephonically communicating with policy holders and potential clients effectively.
I also have had the wonderful opportunity of working for one of the leading film distributors in South Africa, Ster Kinekor Entertainment. Spending a year and seven months with the company has taught me about marketing, public relations, communication and making strategic efforts in ensuring the successful distribution of upcoming films.
As an individual living with a physical disability known as Osteogenesis Imperfecta (brittle bones), I strive to live and sow positively in the lives of those I meet and interact with. It fulfills me to see fruits that will enrich the lives of others grow from the seeds sown. I wish to continue inspiring many with the 'unbreakable spirit' which I believe I possess. I'm passionate about the beautiful country I live in and I aspire to making a difference by contributing to strengthening our economy and leaving a footprint in the soil of this country.
My strengths include constantly working tirelessly to complete any task presented to me, I'm willing to learn and I work tirelessly to reaching my goals.
