I am a qualified Public Relations and Communications practitioner seeking a full-time position in the field of public relations, social media, administration and marketing communications, where I can apply my knowledge and skills for continuous improvement. Furthermore, I am currently doing my final year at the University of Johannesburg, studying towards a BTech in Business Administration.
I, Kgomotsang Thobejane have established a good base of critical sector-specific skills. I have dealt with a variety of communications platforms and conducted research while handling numerous administrative duties. I have attended the NPO Collaboration Dialogue 2016, which unpacked in detail the changing nature of social media. I have developed good written and verbal communications skills, with experience in writing newsletters and media releases. In 2017-2018, I served my internship at the City of Ekurhuleni, where I assisted in various administrative tasks. In 2016, I was a Strategic Communications intern at the Cyril Ramaphosa Foundation. My core role was to coordinate with various departments and assist them with researching and gathering content for communication channels, proofreading and writing student profiles and preparing media releases for media distribution.
