My name is Kavisha Pillay and I am currently concluding my third year of studies in pursuit of a Bachelor of Arts Journalism Degree at the University of Johannesburg. My career objective is to pursue a position in the arena of political or investigative journalism because I have a resilient passion for politics and investigative reporting. However, my interest in journalism as a profession is extensive and I wish to gain as much experience as possible in different and diverse beats and genres.
By nature, I am an outgoing and enthusiastic young individual. I am always eager to acquire and broaden my knowledge and skills through academics and experience. I possess substantial language and grammar skills, as well as a broad creativity base that has been an asset in my academic career along with my other areas of interest.
