I am looking for an opportunity to do volunteer work as a radio broadcasting engineering where I will learn how to do basic skills as an operator. I'm currently working for Gearhouse Cape Town where I am employed as a freelance audio engineer. I have more than 5 years experience in the industry. I want to change my current employment to that of a radio broadcast engineer. I've always had an interest in this field but over the years my interest was in the Live Technical Production Industry because I had love for working with musicians on stage where you interact at a technical level. I love the skill of using sound equipment to balance audio signal.

Now that I want to change to radio broadcasting, I know that I still have to do audio balancing but in a different perspective. I love to work on radio where I will assist the producer as well as the Dj compile the programme and make sure that the technical equipment is in good working order and the audio signal is at an optimal level to broadcast. For the fact that the program occurs in real time makes the job more exciting like it is on stage.
