Ambitious, motivated and confident, I'm an individual who hungers for challenges and new experiences. I am interested in communications, digital and social media strategy and design, and socio-economic and environmental sustainable development. I am looking to relocate to Cape Town and find a role within an agency environment in the Social Media and/or Digital Marketing field.
I am a dynamic, adaptable and driven individual with a BA in Media and Writing and a BA(Hons) in Visual Studies. I have achieved certificates in the fundamentals of Social Media Marketing and Digital Marketing and am currently studying towards my Advanced Diploma in Social Media Marketing correspondence through The Shaw Academy. I am currently the Administrator and Social Media Administrator at RecruiTech where I maintain and update the social media platforms, create engaging social campaigns and advertisements, engage with our followers, and liaise with the web designer on optimising social media and the website for conversions.
I am an imaginative and innovative thinker who is enthusiastic about social media and digital marketing. I have professional experience with various social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram, with a desire to learn more about other platforms. I use Buffer to manage our social media accounts and try to keep up-to-date with digital and social media trends by following various notable digital media marketing front-runners and agencies. I am a creative writer and a pedantic editor with an eye for detail and am able to critically review my work and objectively analyse data. I enjoy creating and consuming digital content and love to share and engage on social media platforms. I take initiative in all day-to-day tasks and am able to prioritise and manage my workload within a tight schedule.
