I haven't had much experience in the working world however, before coming to the department I was an assistant manager at a butchery in Welkom. The butchery was small so it required that I know the ins and outs of it. That experience taught me how to be resilient, to work with different personalities and learn to work through physical pain and exhaustion. I also, during my undergrad, work briefly for a newspaper called the Public Eye; an outlet for my passion for writing.
