I have worked as a Graphic Designer for 23 years in printing companies, design studios, advertising agencies and as a freelancer in Johannesburg. I have moved to Port Elizabeth six years ago, where I have been doing freelance graphic design, typesetting, editing, layout and design of books, dissertations, adverts, posters, logos and printing.
Studied Graphic Design at the Art Foundation in Johannesburg. Firstly worked in a design studio where I was introduced to the world of 'Apple' and graphic design on a computer. I then got involved in the printing industry, working for many printing companies. I then moved more towards design and ended up working for an advertising agency and freelanced in my spare time.
I have done a multitude of different types of work from logo design, adverts for magazines, posters, corporate identity, catalogs, brochures. I have also become involved in the layout, design, editing and conversion of books to kindle format. I am familiar with generating, charts, diagrams and illustrations.
I would say my strongest points are typesetting, layout and logo design.
