Show profile Hide profileI am a self-driven and highly motivated individual with 13 years experience ranging from printing, reproduction to desktop publishing/finished art and training. I am autonomous or can work as part of team from layout to final assembly. I have excellent administrative skills to prioritize and manage various projects at a time, planning the workflow to ensure each client's deadline and marketing objective is met. As a registered assessor and moderator for MAPPP-seta I maintained excellent communication skills, focusing on interpersonal skills as I have had to communicate with clients at different levels in an organisation whilst maintaining high level of ethics when conducting tests. As Training Manager at Lekana Training Academy I was instrumental in designing and developing training material in the Technical Theoretical Modules for learners in preparation for their Trade tests. On-site training was my sole responsibilty with me doing Adobe software training at various companies like Beith, Unisa and National Intelligence Agency where I spearheaded the transition from Freehand to Indesign with the two latter companies. I have managed various accounts from Through The Line, FMCG, Billboards, posters, leaflets, building wraps, complicated catalogues through to final assembly, drawing up die-cuts, varnishes, embossings and foils and making mock ups when required. My reproduction experience has afforded me the opportunity to create templates and set parameters in Trueflow for automated pagination before the final plates are played out(CTP). Managed creep, retouched images, press converted ads for Newsprint, applied clipping for jobs in flexographic printing. I am analytical with the confidence to lead from the front, willing to share skills but also keen to learn new things and facing new challenges head on.
