Show profile Hide profileI am a Senior Account Manager with over 20 years of experience, in television broadcast, both locally and internationally which includes every aspect thereof and have been recognized with several awards during my career. I have worked with terrestrial and satellite broadcasting for the international Christian-based broadcast television network Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN). Operating as an independent entity, TBN is also the world's largest religious television network.
I managed all account/content related duties for TBN in Africa. In this role I managed multiple accounts; developing positive working relationships with all customer touch points. I drove client retention, renewals, upsells and client satisfaction. Developing and implementing strategic plans to manage and grow accounts through excellent knowledge and understanding of our business, offerings, competitors, and industry.
Previous experience includes managing a Terrestrial TV Station as well as Human Resource Management for the Eastern Cape Premier's Office.
Colleagues know me as a highly motivated leader and team player who can always be trusted to come up with solutions to arising issues. But I know that the client's business comes first, and I never try to impose my ideas on others. Instead, I spend a lot of time understanding the business and the audience before suggesting and implementing ideas. I can (and often do) work well alone, but I'm at my best collaborating with others. I'm truly passionate about my work and always eager to connect with other program providers.
