I am a Christina Martin School of Food and Wine trained chef with two years professional cooking experience. During this time I was fortunate to be a part of the team cooking for John Travolta and Kelly Preston, Brad Pitt, and Nicholas Cage. I understand the functionality of a professional kitchen, which benefits my front of house operational skills and planning.
I am a graduate of the SEG Swiss Hotel Management School in Switzerland where I achieved a Swiss Higher Diploma in International Hotel Operations, a Swiss Higher Diploma in International Hotel Management with focus in International Events Management, Event Logistics and Supply Management. I also served on the student committee in charge of student discipline and qualified as the top graduate with the prestigious 'Best Academic Average Award' for my accomplishments.
During the past six years of professional hospitality experience, I have held senior positions of responsibility with five star establishments in various fields of the sector:
• Assistant to the Food and Beverage Manager, Hilton Durban
• Assistant Banqueting Manager, Suncoast Conference and Corporate Events
• Banqueting and Events Manager, The Durban Country Club
• Operations Manager, Spiga d'Oro
• Operations Partner, Coalition Leisure
