Craig Bartlett
Rich Applications Developer at Aqua Online. Experience using Flash Builder 4.0, Design Patterns and Object Orientated Programming. Web animator
Show profile Hide profileI studied at the Universty of Johannesburg where I completed my Btech in Multimedia in 2006.
My experience includes one year in motion graphics. Two years working at a Amorphous New Media as a Web Designer. Two years working at Aqua Online as a Actionscript Developer.
I find that my motion graphics experience has translated well into flash as it has helped me to understand timeline based animation.
My design experience includes using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Flash, designing both static and rich web pages. This is where I began to take an interest in Actionscript.
I decided to join Aqua online in the capacity as a Actionscript developer purely to gain some technical experience as a developer. My daily tasks include taking designs and animating them either using a timeline or code. This is eitherin the form of simple banners or interactive flash apps.
I have experience with Actionscript 3.0 creating Actionscript projects using the Flash Builder IDE. I use Designs patterns with particular focus on the MVC(Model, View Controller) design pattern. I have experience with OOP(Object Orientated Programming).
I find that my design experience helps me to work closely with designers on projects and I enjoy being involved in the creative process from concept.
