I began my professional life as an actress, facilitator and educator, touring the continent teaching kids about evolution using physical theatre. After a fulfilling yet not belly filling career as a professional actress, I looked for an industry that would provide a creative space as well as the opportunity to engage and make a difference. That brought me to marketing where my skills as a Social Bard, in that I'm a marketing adventurer who engages with the community and just wants to share stories. Working for DStv, I found a company ready to take a chance on an extremely unique, possibly strange but definitely skilled marketer because of my time as an actress, facilitator and connoisseur of two minute noodles rather than in spite of it. I also run my own YouTube channels, a podcast and a Patreon for geeky content and am thankful that my job allows me to explore these new avenues.
I love looking for ways to build shared communities and shared economies through new platforms and through optimization of older ones.
