I graduated with my Honours Degree at the University of Cape Town (Film and Television) and began working a week after handing in my thesis at Topco Media. My role was production assistant which included traffic manager, copy editor, and image sourcer.
I moved on to startup a local branch of a British digital publishing company as Marketing Director. I was then absorbed fully into their production team as a digital editor where I converted content into responsive digital forms using CSS and HTML. My role still includes managing social media, the website and email campaigns.
