Over 35 years market research experience implementing both quantitative and qualitative research techniques and methodologies across a number of diverse industries, covering consumer, socio-economic and business-to-business research.

Spent 18 years at Research Surveys, then between 2002 and 2009 free-lanced, consulting to a variety of businesses, advertising agencies, marketing research companies, public sector departments, and NGOs. Joined Synovate mid-2009 as Sector Head - FMCG, followed by employment as Research and Business Development Manager at Greenfields Institute of Business from late 2010 until September 2013. Worked at Ipsos from March 2014 to July 2020 as Business Unit Director, MarketQuest (2014 - 2018) and Service Line lead, Observer (2018 - 2020). Due to retrenchment in 2020, I am subsequently working as a freelance market researcher.
My research experience includes the implementation of both quantitative and qualitative research techniques and methodologies across a number of diverse industries, covering consumer, socio-economic and business-to-business research. Furthermore, my research experience comprises a wide knowledge of, and full competence in the implementation of, modern research techniques and methodologies, including the following - various methodologies such as segmentation, usage and attitude, advertising, staff attitude, customer satisfaction, product and brand performance for new and existing products, and new product evaluation studies, multivariate quantitative techniques and qualitative methodologies - group discussions and in-depth interviews
