My native language is French, and for the past 12 years, I have lived, pursued my education, and earned my work experiences in English speaking countries (4 years in Accra, Ghana, almost 7 years in the United States, and now on my fourth year in Cape Town, South Africa).
According to the Gallup Strengths Center test my top 5 strengths are:
1. Input: I have the craving to know more. I like to collect and archive all kinds of information, which makes me inquisitive and a good listener.
2. Strategic: I am a natural at thinking outside the box when I am faced with any given scenario; I can quickly spot the relevant patterns and issues. Also, I have the ability to sort through the clutter and find the best route.
3. Ideation: I am fascinated by ideas. I am able to find connections between seemingly disparate phenomena. In other words, I am creative and appreciate originality.
4. Relator: I enjoy close relationships with others and find deep satisfaction in working hard with friends to achieve a goal.
5. Responsibility: I take psychological ownership for anything I commit myself to. I tremendously value honesty and loyalty not only with myself but with everyone and everything I commit myself to.
Here are the few things that motivate me in life: Progress, growth, results, enlightenment, and that fulfilling feeling you get when you help a person get back on their feet by being part of their journey of them finding their purpose in life or any other thing societal wise.
I am a type-A personality, hence I am prone to be a perfectionist, hard-working, very sociable and culturally aware. I am always able to strive no matter the job, environment, and country.
My philosophy in life is; there will be Up's and Down's; trials and tribulations, but these factors simply reiterate to me the fact that I am still living and that there is light at the end of the tunnel.
