A 34-year career in the communication industry, initially as a broadcaster for the SABC in Johannesburg in 1974, has culminated in the establishment of my own communication management consultancy, Amie Hunter Communication. Positions over the ensuing years with private, public and parastatal organisations included working as a journalist, editor and manager in Public Relations and Corporate Communication and as a lecturer.
