UK bank buys 20Twenty
UK banking group Standard Chartered has bought online bank 20Twenty for "less than $10 million", ending 20Twenty's search for a suitor following the collapse of its initial backer, Saambou 18 months ago. Recently 20Twenty's online service was voted best in South Africa in all but one of 11 evaluation criteria in a study facilitated by ItWeb.
