Animation competition
Weekly TV show Siyayinqoba Beat It!, an HIV awareness and education show on SABC 1, is running an animation competition open to all non-professional animators and filmmakers, who will be expected to create an innovative 30-second PSA to drive viewers to testing for HIV, being informed and correctly and consistently using condoms. Entrants may use any form of animation and film. The competition offers R10 000 for the winner, R5 000 for the runner-up and R2 500 for the third-placed entry.
