New beauty editor for Marie Claire
Zanele Kumalo joins Marie Claire on 1 April 2010 as the new beauty editor of the South African edition of the title. She started her career in journalism at the Sunday Times in July 2003 and moved to beauty editor on titles such as Top Billing, O, The Oprah Magazine and Elle. She joins newly appointed fashion director Sharon Becker in the Johannesburg office. Together with editor Aspasia Karras and senior editor Zodwa Kumalo-Valentine, the magazine now has a much stronger presence in Johannesburg.
