Journ award for health mag deputy editor

Once again, a Shape deputy editor has been awarded the Novo Nordisk Media Prize for her journalistic contribution in raising awareness of diabetes and diabetes management and treatment. In 2005 it was Justine Joseph; this year it's Joanne Lillie's turn. “We are tremendously proud of Joanne's achievement. She is a highly valued member of the Shape team," comments editor Toni Younghusband. This initiative is supported by the International Diabetes Federation (IDF), and Novo Nordisk has invited Lillie to compete in the international round of the competition in Rome later this year, where she will represent Shape and South Africa.
