Photo exhibition to raise funds for charity
A one-day exhibition and auction, 100 000 Photos For Hope, will be held at Melrose Arch, Johannesburg, on 16 July 2011 from 9am to raise funds for South African Bone Marrow Registry. The Sunflower Fund developed the campaign/event, which has seen photographers and photo enthusiasts from across the world donate photos for sale for the one-day gallery for charity. The bands Isochronous, Lonehill Estate, Lizban and Chix with Stix are donating their time and will provide the soundtrack to the event, which is also supported by Nikon, Ivok and the Photo & Film Expo.
