Revamped Hostex website to give enhanced experience

The southern African hospitality, catering, and food and beverage exhibition, Hostex, will have more than just tangible changes to the show itself, with an upgrade of the website taking centre stage prior to the show hitting Joburg from 17 to 20 March, 2013.

Hostex offers the industry an opportunity to connect face to face and get to grips with the latest trends, products and innovations. With the new website functionality, visitors can enhance their experience by planning their visit in advance, identifying specific exhibitors to visit and scheduling demonstrations, seminars and competitions into their calendar.

By joining the Hostex Online User Zone, visitors can add exhibitors and activities to a personalised show planner, which can then be emailed, printed or added to your Outlook calendar. This enables all the benefits of Outlook's functionality, including reminders and the ability to forward meeting requests to colleagues for scheduled visits to exhibitors' stands, seminars, demos or competitions.

All the interesting activities and attractions

Hostex Online User Zone users will also receive the latest news on the show, and be kept abreast of all the interesting activities and attractions at Hostex Gauteng 2013.

Exhibitors will be able to add and manage their online profiles and upload latest news and images of their stands and products being showcased at Hostex, ensuring the best possible direct communication with visitors prior to the show.

Brad Hook, portfolio director of Specialised Exhibitions Montgomery, said: "The new Hostex website is more than just a source of information. The main idea behind it was to develop a platform that allowed exhibitors to be able to communicate with visitors through their online Hostex profile, while visitors can control their activities during the four days of the show."
