Rise & Shine Festival, Sandton
Gates open bright and early at 8am. Yogi, Karen, will host a light yoga session on the lawn at 9am, before a full day of music, food, nature and friends. Delicious cuisine will be provided by a number of high-end food stalls curated from the top food and design markets, and a fully stocked bar will keep festival-goers hydrated and refreshed throughout the day.
Sandton Central Park is on the corner of Grayston and Sandton Drives, with the entrance to the park on 5th Street. It is a short 2km tuk-tuk ride from Sandton's Gautrain Station - a great eco-friendly way to arrive. Parking is available at Nelson Mandela Square and Sandton City for a flat fee of R10.
The festival plants a tree for every 50 people who attend. The event has raised 260 trees since its inception, resulting in a green footprint.
