Preyser will be taking over from Christelle Colman who will be pursuing new business opportunities within the insurance industry.

He has close to 40 years’ experience in the corporate sector, with 30 of these spent in the financial services, insurance and assistance services arenas.

He started off his career as an article clerk with Deloitte in 1980, working in Johannesburg, Pretoria, and London. In 1986 he joined Old Mutual, where he spent more than 12 years in various finance and operations management positions - operating in South Africa, Guernsey and Ireland. Shortly after his return to South Africa he joined Liberty Collective Investments which subsequently became Stanlib Wealth Management.

In 2002 Preyser took a position as group service executive at Innovation Group South Africa. In the ensuing years he rose through the local ranks of the company - and later Europe - to the position of COO (Europe), before finally serving as managing director of the Group’s Benelux operation.

Preyser is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of South Africa, as well as The Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales.
