Marketing & Media South Africa

Intrigue and backstabbing in the newsroom

Anton Harber tells a tale in three chapters of behind-the-scenes newsroom intrigue and backstabbing. It will tell you something about journalism in this country and the state of one of our flagship newsrooms.

The Audit Bureau of Circulations of South Africa recently released its Q2 2014 report, which shows that thanks to a number of factors - including labour unrest and an underperforming economy, print is under pressure and it doesn't appear as if it will improve just yet.

Matthew Arnold writes on how Facebook marketing has grown dramatically in recent years and provides the ability for advertisers to get really great returns when managed correctly - by pulling insights from under the hood of Facebook, and Sid Peimer shows you ten things a good map can teach you about strategy.
