US Consulate in Cape Town, US rugby sevens team take on GBV
Along with the US Consulate General in Cape Town, female members of the US diplomatic corps joined the USA Men’s Rugby Seven’s team took on gender-based violence (GBV) – ahead of the HSBC World Rugby Sevens final in Cape Town.

Tops at Spar’s new ‘Aftertaste’ campaign addresses the effects of drinking and driving
Tops at Spar recently launched a new campaign aimed at highlighting the life-changing consequences of drinking and driving. The ‘Aftertaste’ campaign – which will run during December – asks consumers to make responsible choices, be aware of their alcohol consumption and to use alternative modes of transport if necessary.
The ‘after-effects’ of drinking and driving, or ‘aftertaste’, including grief, remorse and eternal mourning were ‘bottled’. Through graphic imagery, three thought-provoking television adverts supported by social media, and in-store assets, the campaign shows creatively labelled bottles filled with vile-tasting alcohol in three varieties....

Ryobi documents Kirsten Landman's Road to Dakar
Hardware manufacturing company Ryobi has enlisted the help of South Africa's top female enduro racer Kirsten Landman for its new ad campaign.
Landman is the first African female to qualify for The Dakar Rally's motorbike classification. She survived a life-threatening injury a few years ago where she was catapulted off her bike, ruptured her spleen and eventually had to learn how to walk again.
Ryobi has been documenting Landman's Road to Dakar – which is hosted in Saudi Arabia from 5 to 17 January 2020 – via a monthly Facebook documentary series. Check out her story in 60 seconds, shot on location where she trains in KwaZulu-Natal....
