The role draws on all my experience to date, retail, operations, and photography in this role. And has included the setting up and running of the in house studio that handles all the product photography and digital design needs of the TFG brands that are currently trading online. And as more of the TFG brands go online my task will include their successful on boarding. Also included in my current portfolio is the effective management of the external email-marketing provider, and packaging.
SMC Store Operations Support Manager September 2010 - April 2015

Recruited from London by TFG Infotec at a Home Coming Revolution event in 2010, in this role I have broadened my IT and Management skills while supporting The Foschini Groups 2200 stores across Southern and Central Africa. The role included looking after the "hardware" stack that the TFG Stores operate on, managing a team of 9 including IT Technical Specialists of various grades, a Vendor Co-ordinator, SMS & SCCM Specialists, and managing two external vendors to ensure the uptime of all TFG Stores across Africa.
Lead Genius November 2006 - August 2010
Apple Store Bentall Centre, Kingston Upon Thames, UK
I was promoted to a Lead Mac Genius upon joining Apple Retail's new store at Kingston Upon Thames. This meant as well as my regular Mac Genius responsibilities I also managed a team of 10 Mac Genii to make sure the service side of the store met the goals and objectives of Apple Retail. We became one of the best performing store in Europe. This role frequently involved training and development of the staff, mentoring, strategic planning and quality control.
