James Wernich
A strong leader, non-linear thinker, and an individual who comes with many years experience in different industries. I have worked for large corporate companies, to small home based employers. My desire to assist others to succeed is only second to my own desire. I am dedicated to exceptional customer service.
I consider myself intellectual, providing a view outside of just a linear scope. I enjoy challenges at work, and I thrive on growing. I have a vast background in different industries, and while always learning and developing into these companies, there has always been one constant which is my love for being in Customer Services & Management.
As I have grown as a person, I have learnt that closing myself off to other opportunities means I am afraid to take risks, and would rather become complacent. This is just not in my character. So when agents or potential employers ask me which industry I want to work in, I honestly believe that I can work in any, as long as it offers me the opportunity to challenge myself, to grow and learn and most importantly, job satisfaction.
I also love to write, and I take great pride in what I do write, how I write, and what I bring across in my writing. I am careful in my approach, especially when dealing with public forums, as I have come to learn that humans have become more sensitive to how they are approached, and on top of that, how they are starting to feel in the world around them. As technology grows, so does the humankind demand for their needs to be satisfied. When it is not, social platforms like Facebook, Twitter & Instagram become the areas by which they vent their frustration. I have been focusing myself on improving my teams to deal with these customers, because it is a highly stressful environment to work in.
If you ask anyone about me there are a number of things that will come up about my personality. They will use words like "fair", "firm", "strong leader", "compassionate", "extroverted", "humorous", "thorough", "reliable", and many more. I describe myself as someone that always tries to do the best he can, win or lose, I will always want to be the best I can be.
I also know that life is becoming tougher. I know that we see more doom and gloom, particular in South Africa right now. While my eyes are wide open to this, I must also have faith and belief that the future can be brighter. That positive can breakdown the negative, and that unity comes from making the difference, not just talking about it. Positive reinforcement starts within us all. I would rather want to believe there is better opportunity, than simply giving up.
I know that any employer that takes the opportunity with me will be better for it. If you want me to learn more to improve your business, I will do so with open arms. If you want someone that will want to change and improve processes by looking at the competitor or within and saying "What can I improve", I will do it. I am not one-dimensional. I will look holistically and environmentally at issues and find ways to resolve it.
