I have performed these functions across FMCG categories; Automotive and High Tech Electronic Product solutions. I have experience and expertise across all Customer Channels; being B2B, B2C; with excellent results.
I am fully capable of strategic and tactical planning and implementation. I am a hands-on implementer who invite team members' input and initiative in implementation to time lines and results there-of that was pre-agreed.
I am very innovative and entrepreneurial when I create Ideas, Strategies, Tactics, Campaigns, Communication and Sales Drives and Marketing Campaigns and Promotions. However; I base all the aforesaid on Commercial sense and savvy. Pie in the Sky is not a concept that I hold sympathy for. I have further pioneered and driven launch and growth of brand and business in several countries worldwide. For these opportunities I am really grateful as it has broadened my knowledge and expertise greatly.
I have set up a multitude of corporate governance procedures, sales systems and processes, marketing procedures, process flows and distribution systems and procedures. I am very good in defining "The Way We Do Things" in businesses and then rolling it out, once agreement has been reached.
As Business Consultant; I have worked in the Logistics, Finance, Stationery, Electronic Detection and Defense, FMCG, Tourism, Beauty, 3rd party Manufacturing, Renewable Energy, Automotive and Liquor Industries. I thus have had to learn very fast and focus on the key elements and issues only.
I have set up various innovative distribution methodologies to reach out of the way consumers and customers, whilst generating new opportunities for improved BBBEE scores in many of these cases.
I think it is important to say that some of my great results would not have been possible without a team working across business functions to achieve targets. I am a big believer in team members that understand their roles and their impact on one another's performance and I have been successful in defining and implementing Cross-functional teams and Matrix organisations.
I am at a point in my career development where I want to transition from being an independent business consultant back into being part of a team within a business. I want to be part of something permanently again and crave the stimulation hereof.
