The Dis-Chem Foundation has donated 5,200 blankets to 33 organisations nominated by Dis-Chem's Facebook followers and Dis-Chem Pharmacy staff. This initiative has been running for five years and this year, the organisations range from old age homes to children's homes and animal shelters.

Casual clothing and accessories brand, Gap, has re-entered the South African market with the opening of a new store at The Mall of Africa in Johannesburg on 3 December.
The store opened its doors on 26 November and the launch event, featuring various journalists, influencers and personalities including LeeAnne Dlamini, PatOnBrands, TK Matakanye and Lwandile Makhaza, followed a week later.
