New management at immedia

Cheryl Wheeler, CEO of Durban-based smartphone company immedia, is leaving to return to the broadcasting industry. No replacement has been announced but in the interim, her duties will be carried out by the group general manager Nazeem Ebrahim, who has nearly 20 years experience in the IT industry and an ability to direct complex IT projects from concept to fully operational status. He has managed customer accounts and relationships in the public and private sector as well as a number of large scale IT projects.
