Sanef receives report of verbal attacks, physical threats on ANN7 journalists

The South African National Editors Forum has received reports of verbal attacks and physical threats of harm against ANN7 journalists. The journalists said they were attacked while they were covering a protest in Cape Town, last week.

Sanef urged the journalists to report the incident to the South African Police Service and call on authorities to investigate and charge those responsible for the threats to cause harm.
