Media24 welcomes Competition Commission's decision on Novus Holdings merger

Media24 welcomed the Competition Commission's completion of its investigation into the company's merger with Novus Holdings. The Competition Commission has recommended that the Competition Tribunal approve the merger on the condition that Media24 divests itself of its majority shareholding in Novus Holdings by unbundling the shares to the shareholders of Naspers.

This will leave Media24 with a 19% non-controlling minority shareholding in Novus Holdings.
