2006 Businesswomen of the Year announced
Gloria Serobe, founding member, executive director and CEO of Wiphold, and Angela Dick, founder and CEO of Transman, were named the winners of the 2006 Businesswoman of the Year Award - in the Corporate and Entrepreneurial categories respectively - last night in Sandton, Wednesday 2 August 2006. Although this year marks the sixth year of Nedbank's sponsorship of this 27-year old award, this is the first time that the award has been split into two categories.
