Peroni brings Italy to Soweto

Imagine yourself sitting at a sidewalk café in Italy drinking an espresso and enjoying all that Italy has to offer. You didn't have travel to Italy to make this dream a reality.

Soweto came alive with Italian flavours on 30 March 2008, as Peroni created an Italian courtyard dining experience at the Backroom in Pimville. The evening offered the best of Italian cuisine in a three-course meal which included chicken liver pasta, polenta and Italian stew, and Italian kisses. There was Italian entertainment as well as classic music reinforcing the feel of Italy.
