Media play-date with Nintendo

Nintendo held another fun-filled media launch on Friday 1 February 2008 at the Summer Place venue in Hyde Park, with over 70 journalists from a wide range of publications and programmes all eager to get their hands on the new Nintendo Wii games and the Nintendo DS Lite.

The launch provided the journalists with the opportunity to experience the blockbuster Wii games, Super Mario Galaxy and Mario Party 8 firsthand. Nintendo promoters were present, with real live “Mario's” helping guests interact with the new releases.

Also launched was the Nintendo DS Lite. The arrival of the DS Lite coincides with several new DS games, including Nintendogs, “Braintraining”, Mario Kart DS and Super Mario Bros, which were all available for play.
