Rovos Rail murder-mystery
Advertisers were recently given the opportunity to enter the world of the Crime & Investigation Network (CI), while attending a murder-mystery event hosted by Oracle Airtime Sales (OATS) and The History Channel (THC) onboard Rovos Rail.
Suspects mingled with the crowd, compelling guests to get in the minds of the detectives, victims and the perpetrators to solve the staged crime and gain an understanding of the channels' opportunities.
The History Channel highlights includes Dogfights, which uses realistic computer graphics to place the audience in the pilot's seat where one move can be fatal, and then ventures to underground secrets with Cities of the Underworld to explore dungeons, tombs and hide-outs concealed below cities like Bucharest, Budapest, London, Berlin and Rome. It's back to outer space with The Universe for a journey where history and science collide in an exploration of the universe and its mysteries.
CI guides viewers through the profiles of some of the world's most prolific criminals under the guidance of leading forensic psychologists in The Making of a Monster, while Crime 360 enters the crime scene to join detectives as they examine evidence, interview suspects and witnesses to ultimately solve a case, and the Cold Case Files follows the pursuit of families and friends to solve murder cases up to 30 years old.
The evening's presentations gave insight to advertisers and marketers of the opportunities that are available to their clients with channels that are known to build everlasting audiences by providing a factual platform for credible brand association.
