Scan builds largest exhibition stand in Africa
For the fourth consecutive year, Scan Display Solutions has been awarded the contract to build the Gauteng Provincial Government’s stand at the Rand Show.
This year’s stand will be the largest of its kind built in Africa, covering 1 300m² of floor space and representing 12 government departments.
Scan will also be building stands for Freedom Park Trust, the Department of Justice, ABSA (through World Wide Sports), Vodacom (through Sail) and the City of Johannesburg.
It will be the first time that the City of Johannesburg has showcased all its different utilities under one banner.
Leruo Sandamela, Scan’s Director in charge of the City’s exhibit, says: “It will be a very interactive display. Visitors to the show will be able to enquire about their water and power bills and learn to use the City’s website for future enquiries.”
The Rand Show takes place at JHB Expo Centre NASREC from 30 March to 15 April 2007.
