Following on from the recent relaunch of the Yum Yum peanut butter range, Nola, a division of Foodcorp, is taking the brand in a new direction with the launch of its latest campaign.

Predominantly targeting trendy moms, the campaign involves an outdoor element with the use of billboards in Johannesburg and Soweto. The billboards use the vibrant colours associated with the new packaging, and feature pay-off lines such as ‘Yum Yum look. Yum Yum Mum.'

The campaign is focusing on the back to school and beyond period from December 2008 through to March 2009 and also involves print and in-store awareness.

Nola has invested heavily in updating the Yum Yum brand, having recently refurbished their peanut butter factory with modern equipment to deliver a consistent quality product. The packaging upgrade includes a new brand icon and messaging displaying the nutritional benefits of the product.

“Yum Yum are leading innovation in the spread category with the widest flavour variety of peanut butter to suit all tastes and new exciting packaging including the latest packaging advances with the use of the shrink sleeve cover and original tamperproof seal,” says Liezel van Bergen, Yum Yum brand manager.
