Stadium management, travel companies benefit from branding
SMSA currently manages the FNB Stadium, Rand, Orlando and Dobsonville Stadiums and its new logo creates a clear, consistent visual identity to assist the public in identifying its managed stadiums that offer secure bookings.
"Our new identity is more than just a logo, we want to change the way events are managed in this country to quell the sustainability issues plaguing many of the other stadiums following the 2010 FIFA World Cup," says Jacques Grobbelaar, chief executive of SMSA. "It is becoming increasingly important to host events with multi-function capabilities, such as entertainment and soccer together to attract the public back to the stadiums."
Global offering on travel
Wings Travel Management (formerly known as Wings Corporate Travel) has revealed a refreshed name and logo, reflecting the company's new focus as it moves into 2011. It has also introduced sub-brands representing each of the sectors that it specialises in; Wings Offshore Travel, Wings Marine Travel and Wings Corporate Travel. It has dual headquarters in the UK and SA, with representation in Europe, Americas, Africa and the Middle & Far East. It has further expansion plans in Angola, Nigeria and Russia.
Design features of the new logo include, the removal of the words 'Corporate Travel' and a new symbol that reflects the globe, with the lines through the globe representing the transportation of people around the world
