Tourists flock to the Western Cape

According to a News24 report, more than four-million passengers arrived at the Cape Town International Airport in 2011, 4,16% more than the previous year when South Africa hosted the 2010 Football World.

New24 reports that the trend was consistent for December when international tourism levels increased by 17%, while regional tourism was 26,8% higher as people flocked to the Western Cape for the festive season break.
