Court evicts Wallmanshal land invaders
A group of people who illegally invaded land at Wallmanshal have been given 15 days to vacate the land and The New Age reports that the order was granted by the Pretoria Magistrate's Court after an urgent court action brought by the Wallmanshal Communal Property Association.
The land invaders have lodged an appeal against the eviction order but the Department of Rural Development and Land Reform says that the eviction order stands and it will fight any attempts to appeal the ruling by invaders.
The invaders are reportedly singing songs in Setswana that mean "You are traitors that have been bewitched. . . "
