For an industry that revolves around communication, we've done a remarkably poor job of introducing ourselves to our markets, our clients and the public in general. In fact, finding your way around the communication industry is like visiting a strange country without a tour guide.
And that is exactly what "The Corporate Communications Handbook of South Africa" aims to be: the definitive guide for anyone trying to navigate the industry searching for the right service and the right company to meet their needs.
This will be the ultimate reference book spanning all the divisions of the Communications Industry. Each company will not only get a directory listing, but will also have the opportunity to showcase themselves in full colour.
There is little doubt that the Handbook will become the bible for each Marketing and Corporate Communications Manager in SA. So if you're not in it, you haven't got a prayer!
The book will be distributed by The Corporate Research Foundation (free of charge) to 2000 marketing managers, decision makers and account directors in SA. In addition, copies will be sold in CNA, Exclusive Books, Wordsworth, Estoril, other boutique stores and Kalahari.net.
And negotiations are currently underway to make the Handbook available at the major marketing and advertising events taking place in SA. All companies featured will be kept abreast of all and any developments.
In addition to CRF's marketing efforts which will create market awareness for the book, the book and all clients profiled therein, will receive added exposure in Business Times, Sunday Times.
As the country's leading newspaper with an average weekly circulation of 504,295, the Sunday Times is well equipped to afford the Handbook the type of profile it deserves. As of March 2nd, Business Times will feature adverts informing the industry of the upcoming book, to be launched on October 30th, 2003. At the time of launch, Business Times, Sunday Times will do a special feature on the book and its content.
Now that you know WHY you have to be in the Handbook, you may want to know HOW it will be structured.
'The Corporate Communications Handbook of South Africa' will be an A4, full colour, hard-cover publication of the highest quality. The book will be divided into three sections:
