      Marketing Intern

      Remuneration:R5000 - R6000 per month basic salary

      About the role
      Topco Media and Communications is looking for a Marketing Intern to support our marketing team across conferences, publications, and awards brands. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who wants real exposure to end-to-end marketing execution, content, social media, email, events, and PR, across a portfolio of well-established B2B brands.

      Key responsibilities
      • Support the creation and scheduling of social media content and content calendars across assigned brands
      • Assist with email marketing execution (build, scheduling, basic reporting) in support of delegate/lead generation campaigns
      • Help maintain and update marketing Trello boards, ensuring tasks move through brief → in progress → review → scheduled → live → reporting
      • Assist with basic copywriting for social posts, emails, and web/landing page updates
      • Provide general administrative and coordination support to brand owners and the marketing amnager
      • Support media monitoring and PR administration (e.g. tracking coverage via Meltwater)
      • Help maintain data hygiene across marketing tools and lead lists
      Skills required:
      • Currently studying n marketing, communications, media, or related field
      • Strong writing skills and attention to detail
      • Comfortable with social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, X/Twitter, Facebook)
      • Basic familiarity with design or content tools (e.g. Canva) is a plus
      • Organised, able to manage multiple small tasks and deadlines at once
      • Willingness to work on-site at events, including some early mornings/evenings when required
      • A proactive, "figure it out" attitude, this is a fast-paced, execution-heavy team
