Pylones opens at V&A Waterfront
The international brand, Pylones opened its flagship South African stores at the V&A Waterfront on 1 August 2014. Designer Braguette Magique launched Pylones from a basement in Paris in 1985 and its enthusiastic and talented designers, new materials, new techniques, competent suppliers and its efficient and attentive employees contribute to its success worldwide.
Pronounced, 'pee-lone', this part toy-store, part design museum will capture the imagination of shoppers as it transforms basic household products, such as mugs and umbrellas, into highly decorated works of art. The South African store joins 120 flagship stores in 28 countries and 7 continents, as well as more than 25 000 independent stores internationally.
