What's big and yellow and hands out roses?
When love is in the air people around the world do crazy things to demonstrate their love to their partners, friends and admirers.
Savanna's much-loved Lemons joined in on the spirit of love and handed out cards and roses at intersections in Cape Town and Johannesburg on 14 February.
Apart form quirky sayings such as “Is a passion fruit the only fruit that can feel passion?” the cards also carried details of how, if they are one of the lucky few selected, they can choose a love song and have one of the Savanna Lemons serenading it to their partner or loved one at their work or home.
Signs with “Honk your horn if you are taken” and “Flash your lights if you are single” were some of the signs along the way. Just over 7000 yellow roses were handed out on the day.
