“Most malls, like the ones where our Boost Juice Bars are located, have pay-for-parking systems and we don't want this to discourage our customers from popping in to grab a quick smoothie,” says Mike Bray, Boost's marketing director.
The brand was created by Australian, Janine Allis, CEO of Boost Juice Bars, who struggled to find healthy fast-food alternatives for her children. As a result, she created the juices and smoothies of Boost, all of which are free of preservatives, artificial flavours and colourants.
The Boost Juice Bar franchise has experienced unprecedented growth in the nine years since its inception, having 236 stores in 13 countries, including South Africa, which has five stores in Gauteng. These outlets are situated in the Brooklyn, East Rand and Rosebank malls, and the Greenstone and Kolonnade shopping centres.
